The present is plunging forth into darkness and all we can do is pick up some of the pieces and try to keep up. I'm interested in these gathered pieces we hold onto and the mysteriousness of where the present takes us.
I look for creative exploration of this unknown and attempt to present questions, physically and verbally. How do we sound? How do we move? How do we experience performance? How do audience and performers live in a space together?
My writing tends to focus on the comedic absurdity of uncertainty, manipulating time, dialogue, and space to explore imagery over story.
